We attach human traits to everything as that’s all we know. We humanize animals. We humanize plants. We even wrongly  humanize God. I guess it helps us cope with aspects of each with which we can’t identify. Today I witnessed a blatant mass murder on my back porch. There is a bird’s nest that a finch pair have occupied this spring and I could only assume were raising chicks. I watched a mass fluttering of 3 birds, coming and going, fighting, then finally I saw a sparrow perch on the side of the nest and – one by one – pick up and fling out 1st a hatchling, 2nd an egg with a partially formed chick, 3rd another mostly formed chick still in an egg, and 4th a newly laid egg. Now all 4 dead. Mom and dad finch tried to fight off the sparrow, but couldn’t.  This wasn’t an accident. It was intentional. The sparrow did this willfully. And this isn’t the first time I’ve seen a sparrow raid a nest. The first time a sparrow killed bluebird chicks. I was furious this time just as I was the first time. And then I am painfully reminded, “Are two sparrows not sold for an assarion? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.” (Matthew 10:29)

Mr. Shalom Auslander, New York Times op-ed author, said we should “rid ourselves of God” because he’s just too hateful and starts war. The sparrow did what it did – that’s nature, and God knows. Yet Mr. Auslander, a Jewish man, blames God for all the hatred and ill that man commits while his own people – thr Jews – time and time, generation after generation blasphemed God, turned their backs on Him, and yet God continued to love them. Yes, He did punish them for their disobedience – as any GOOD FATHER does to correct bad behavior – but He never turned His back on them.

If God were like Mr. Auslander and the “woke” people today He wouldn’t just punish the disobedient He would erase them out of oblivion. If God was like Mr. Auslander He would kill ALL the sparrows for the action of the one. If God were like you and me the whole world would become a deviant, murderous place that would die out in about 1 week.

I am beyond thankful God ISN’T like us! I’m grateful He IS the same yesterday,  today,  and tomorrow. That His promises ARE yea and amen. That He NEVER slumbers of sleeps. I’m grateful God abhors “haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.” I’m thankful He DOES expect more from me as His child. I’m eternally grateful He gave us His Son, Jesus, as a tangible example of how to live and love, and The Holy Spirit to live IN us and give us every support to live the example Jesus left us.

Knowing this about my God is a huge comfort. He IS a just and loving God. I am sorry Mr. Auslander doesn’t know my God but will pray one day he will come to know Him as I do.

Ridiculous question! As IF!!! Evidently New York Times op-ed author Shalom Auslander has decided that God is just too brutal, causes too many wars because he’s just too hateful. Really?

God who formed you lovingly, Mr. Auslander, IN your mother is the creator of wars? Could it be, Mr. Auslander, that it’s actually the evil in you and me – ALL of mankind – that creates all the brutality, hatred, envy, and all the other god-LESSness that leads to war? I have a feeling you and the countless others who blame God for what man does freely all have the same problem – you are blind to just how utterly depraved your sin nature really is. You think more highly of yourself than you ought. What every human is capable of in the most deviant, unspoken part of their soul is what you REALLY are without restraint. The restraints – be it parental guidance, moral compass, fear of getting caught – is God’s common grace. We should all be thankful for it. Look around us now. With parents not married and not parenting their kids, calls for limiting police, District Attorneys refusing to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law, and leftist judges sentencing soft terms are drastically challenging societal common grace. That can never be put on God. God gave this country the best founding leaders who had a great sense of societal parameters within our God-given freedoms but MAN has been the ONLY reason we are looking at such a decline. It was NOT God.

I know Mr. Auslander does not believe Jesus is God’s Son and I am sad for him. After growing up in Jewish home how can he learn how our same God delivered his ancestors from one captivity to another with miracle after miracle and yet now declare God hateful? To be that intimately knowledgeable with the God of the Universe’s direct involvement with his people and not see His love is like sitting with your dying 90 year old mother and the only thing you can think of is that one time she yelled at you. Get over yourself and learn that God is way more than what you feel.

God – who IS the embodiment of love – He has proven His love from eternity past to day 1 of creation to the fall in the garden and providing a plan to crush satan and sin forever. Tomorrow is a celebration of the FACT that Christ IS Risen! Death is no more! God IS Love!

This week I started getting ready for big changes. My sweet hubs will have surgery next month that will incapacitate him for several months. It will mean I have to go back and forth from hospital and rehab hospital for some time. I’ve gotten busy freezing 15 meals so I won’t have to think about cooking. Also preparing for someone to come and stay with my 65lb goldendoodle, Bonnie. Yes, she’s a dog, but we did sign on 2+ years ago to take good care of her. Just taking care of every day life – just as you do.

I took a moment to sit and rest and the above pic was what I witnessed. My babies!!!

So… you get covid. Your dr says takes these meds. You go to your drug store and they say, sorry but the FDA won’t allow us to administer these meds for THAT reason/ illness. You call around. No other pharmacy can either. You call your dr – they have to prescribe their 2nd or 3rd best option. Their 1st options include hydroxychloroquin or ivermectin. The WORLD’S best option for the type infection covid presents.

I’ve had covid 2 times. No – I have NOT been vax’d. I prefer to say I got Fauci’s vax for which my tax dollars paid dearly – covid. First covid infection was March 2020. I was given Zithromax and steroids – 21 HORRIBLE days later I was STILL trying to hack up my right lung. I had breathing treatments at home and felt great WHILE in treatment. Once finished – my right lung continued to try and make its appearance. It wasn’t until around day 28 I felt my lung decided to stay IN my chest. Clearly what I was given was NOT effective. For the record, I did ask for hydroxychloroquin and was told it was only for the worst of patients… aka not to be wasted on my insignificant cough of 28 days.

My 2nd bout with covid, April 2021, started with the same pain in my right lung as my 1st covid encounter – and with a new dr!!! – I was IMMEDIATELY given an infusion of ivermectin, another round of ivermectin for home the next day, and several other over the counter supplements like vitamin c, d3, zinc… and others. I tested positive on Tuesday and by Thursday afternoon, I was FINE!

Then in the fall of 2021 – the hubs got covid – after being fully vax’d. (Thought it would stop that?) Anyhoooo…. his dr – different from mine (long story) – treated him with monoclonal antibodies as they were available to “Red State” covid patients at that time. His recovery was as quick as mine – for which I am grateful!!!

So why this post?? Isn’t covid pretty much behind us? Sort of. HOWEVER – What does a person do now if they get covid? Can you be a contributing part of your healthcare if you get covid for a first or second or even a third time? MY BODY MY CHOICE! So I did what I thought was a logical next step – I bought ivermectin over the internet. The 1st purchase came, no problem. My 2nd purchase got held up in Chicago. I eventually had to request my money back – and did get it back. I had ZERO CLUE why it was held up.  Little did I know  – our Government… the FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION seized MY bought and paid for ivermectin  – the drug that DOES kill covid – and only notified me TWO MONTHS LATER – by letter!

You can COUNT on updates from me over this issue! The FDA actually gave a name AND phone number  – Jessica L Diliberti, Investigator, (612) 758-7169 – both of which I WILL be utilizing relentlessly in the VERY near future!

After receiving the letter from the FDA, the first thing I did was contact the supplier who got screwed and apologized with a full explanation. No matter what – there are still humans on the other side of every transaction. CUSTOMER. SERVICE. IS. EVERYTHING!

I am anxiously awaiting my first conversation with this “Investigator” – Jessica L Diliberti. I am anticipating all the “shoulds” and “coulds” I could EVER imagine and swing my FREEDOM ash bat at every single one of them. I’m quite sure my name will be further spread across every list known in government JUST for trying to 1) stay alive, 2) exercise my freedoms and RIGHTS spelled out by our Founding Fathers in the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

If I’m labeled a “domestic terrorist” as opposed to the ACTUAL domestic terrorist Frank James – who shot off 33 rounds, hitting 10 innocent subway riders, setting off a smoke bomb to create a diversion so he can get away – ALL BECAUSE – he hates white and Spanish speaking people … THEN SO BE IT!

All the rhetoric you’re hearing and reading against the “yous and mes” of America is NOT just rhetoric. It IS coming to small town America NOW! EVERY ONE OF US will have to face just how strongly we hold to our beliefs. You can NOT bury your head anymore. Your personal TRUTH will come out soon, whether you are ready or not.

If you haven’t figured this out by now – you’re here! What are you going to do? With whom will you stand. Today? America. Tomorrow? God! This time in which we find ourselves is pivotal in history. Our great-grandchildren may only be able to read about us in (ugh) wikipedia – IF it offers space for conservative martyrs. As it is now, we will simply be a blip in a group who sought to overthrow “The Great Reset” and blah blah blah….” I say “blah” as I have ZERO clue what a revolutionary says or does. That isn’t what I’m about.

I am God’s child. I do HIS bidding. This earth is temporal – as He said. His Son, Jesus, made a way on the cross, and through His resurrection – His triumph over death – for EVERY sinner to come to Him and receive God’s grace, mercy, love, and forgiveness. THAT is what life on this earth is about!

You can yell, spit, yammer, schtump about “Putin’s price hike” until your hair plugs and dental implants pop off your head, but what you and your handlers fail to realize is while you live in your cocoon’d safe bubble and collect a hefty salary off OUR backs (and God only knows from whomever else) – WE THE PEOPLE go to the gas pump weekly. WE buy groceries. WE pay electricity bills. WE cringe when temps drop. WE sweat bullets when our vehicle with 200,000+ miles makes a strange noise. YOU had zero clue how much ground beef cost. YOU preach at us that we should buy an electric car that we can’t afford.

YOU refuse to actually DO what SHOULD be done to lower gas prices that aren’t Putin’s fault. They’re YOUR fault! Reopen our oil and natural gas industry back to where it was the day before you desecrated the office of President of the United States of America.

WE THE PEOPLE know!

It is almost impossible to keep up with everything that’s happening in news. There’s the war Russia waged on Ukraine. Inflation rising 1.5% in just one month to 8.5% in America. Today’s subway mass attack in Brooklyn, New York City. The swearing in of of a new leftist Supreme Court Justice. Crime going crazy all over the country with DA’s who are soft on prosecuting. I do have the time to spend studying multiple sources on these subjects and issues and it’s still overwhelming! And then this …..

In Shanghai, the Chinese government has shut down the city of 25 MILLION and literally locked IN all of its citizens in their housing with locks on the OUTSIDE of their doors due to a recent uptick in covid infections resulting in TWO deaths. There is a video recording I saw/ heard 2 days ago of literal screams of the people locked in their apartments – it was the most chilling thing I’ve ever heard. And to top it off – many of these screams were because many of these Chinese citizens are starving to death.

The most disgusting thing was watching a robodog with a megaphone head “walking” down the road, drones flying around flanked by high-rise apartment buildings, repeating the message: “Control your soul’s desire for freedom.” Isn’t that the truth!? Freedom from tyranny IS from your soul! We KNOW being locked down by by an outside force is wrong. It IS in our soul. I keep waiting for THAT PERSON to scale down their balcony, get to ground level and beat the crap out of that robodog and stuff the megaphone head up its…. but I digress.

I’ve had many say I better be careful what I write – ole joe might come after me. Did anyone say that to George Washington or Abe Lincoln? And HECK NO I’m NOT comparing me to them, but I’ll be damned if I’m going to sit back and keep my mouth shut while some little piss ant like AOC and the like runs this country into the sewer. NO ONE will lock me in my house against my will! I’ll take my 2nd Amendment legal shot gun and find a way out. We DO have a Constitution and the Bill of Rights that I WILL thump until the day I die! AOC, Nancy, ole joe, didn’t build this country – they’re working their hardest to turn it into a fascist state. WE THE PEOPLE built it! So whether there’s a bullseye on my back or not – THIS IS MY COUNTRY!

It’s not surprising that I’m conservative in my thinking, belief, and morals. I didn’t arrive at my conserstiveism in the logical, typical manner. I didn’t grow up rich and blindly adopt my parent’s religious and political philosophy. #1) My parents were not rich – both worked HARD for every single penny. #2) My FIRST inclination – no matter what- has always been to ask WHY??? As I’ve alluded to in previous writings, and if you know me, you know I grew up in a Christian home, with Christian parents, church on Sunday morning and night, Wednesday night, church youth group on Thursday and Saturday. In between all my church activities, I attended private Christian schools from Kindergarten to grade 12, AND 5 years of college. I was NEVER taught anything remotely resembling a liberal thought except from a distant family member from an overheard conversation on a rare occasion.

The Christian community in which my parents decided to shelter their kids, many viewed it the same as a monastery carved out of a 15,000ft mountain of stone, isolated from any semblance of the real world in which God commanded His children to live among the world and be CHRISTIANS  – aka “Little Christ” examples – and to be a “light on a hill.” As you can imagine, individual thought or challenging questions were NOT… 1- normal, 2- encouraged, 3- were sometimes quasi punished. So, in this sheltered community, when someone like me comes along and seems to be born with the anomaly “question everything” gene – things tend to get dicey.

My senior year in college… actually, I think it was my 2nd senior year – don’t judge… I graduated – I found a masters program for which I wanted to apply. I had to get a reference letter from my Chancellor **HEAD PROTESTANT MONK** in order to complete my application. UGH! So I made the appointment with his Secretary. At the “Audience” with the Head “P” Monk, I sat down with my list of answers to every anticipated question… except THIS question… BOOM: “Why would you want to go to a school where the President of the University has a beard?” (Our Chancellor **seriously** thought facial hair a sin🙄.) I was feeling overwhelmingly incredulous while trying to keep my cool. The ONLY (appropriate) answer I could allow escape my mouth was: “if Jesus had a beard – and we know He did because they PULLED it out –  then I think Dr. “Soandso” can have a beard. I also think a man’s facial hair, or lack thereof, is a trivial way to judge a WHOLE university, and I would find it highly disturbing if you denied me the opportunity to further my education based on such a transitory issue as hair on one’s face rather than the University’s fundamental biblical doctrinal and theological beliefs.” He wrote the letter of recommendation. I didnt go.

Circumstances got complicated. Life got blazingly different. I moved all over the country working for several airlines. It was the 1980’s and the airlines found themselves newly post-deregulation. Yay? Sure – IF you were the owners – Frank Lorenzo or Carl Ican – HECK YES… said their wives😖!!! Anyone else, no! Between the two, they took down 10(?) airlines in the name of “merger”, “acquisition”, and/or “consolidation.” Bottom line – those two men are the BASIC and broad reason traveling by plane now sucks… the top line reason?… Mama-Pete Buttigieg. During this “season” in my life, I questioned the traditional political view points from my growing-up and, true to form, asked a BAZILLION questions of the people with whom I worked. I listened. I read. I watched TV. I read more. It was an extremely fast-paced, confusing time. Going from the monastery to the mean-streets… day and night!

I moved from Chattanooga to – St. Louis, Denver, Rochester (MN), Baltimore, NYC, back to Baltimore – from the 1980’s until December 1990. That grew me UP! AND –  It all ended with a horrible, on the job accident that is still with me today, and will never leave me. But WAS it the airline OR the moving around OR the accident?

In my college years, while I was at my protestant “monastery” (definition: “Complex of buildings comprising the domestic quarters and workplace(s) of monks or nuns” *thats about right), I took my relationship with God seriously and decided to learn as much as possible about HIM – His TRUE nature – in order to get closer to Him. When you make those decisions, along with your personal communion with God, He sends people to you who are searching the same and who are also well versed and knowledgeable to aid in mutual growth. And He did! There were SO many men and women who were just as hungry to REALLY know God and His nature intimately, and absolutely LOVED sharing all they learned. It was a great immersion of like desire to experience God as intimately as possible.

Here is the sad part. I moved away physically from Chattanooga and poetically away from God at the same time. I’m now close to 62 and think I have EVERY right to make declarations. I’ve experienced ALL of life (minus my death): youth’s ups and downs, heartache, goals achieved and lost, good and bad health, faced death with cancer diagnosis – AND won!, chronic pain, true love of a dedicated spouse, birth of our baby, death of loved ones, living on beans and rice, being a grandmother, and I could go on and on. The point?

Relationship with God IS intentional. As is mine. The more active you are the sweeter it gets. Sweet? Does that mean easy, pain free? Who makes honey? Yep – bees. Get near the honey – bees will sting you. Aside from anaphylaxis shock, once you get passed the bees and their stingers – sweet sweet honey! Knowing God is rich with deep-soul-JOY!!! Not worldly giddy laughter. Deep down to your toes joy and peace ONLY THE Eternal God and a relationship with Him brings.

Look at whats happening all around the world. Look at what’s happening HERE – in OUR cities!:There’s no joy. No peace. Fear is palpable. But not IN those who are God’s children. If you ARE God’s child – REJOICE!!!! then… GET TO WORK! You know your commission!!! If you’re NOT God’s child – WHY? What are you waiting on!!? It will NEVER get better! God loves you beyond what you could EVER imagine!

Did you know for a fact your bank accounts are being monitored by the IRS for every transaction that totals $600 per year?! According to Janet Yellen, that’s to make sure “billionaires pay their fair share.” BILLIONAIRES??? $600 A YEAR???? And that includes accounts like Paypal, Venmo, etc., just to make sure you’re NOT skirting IRS eyeballs with nefarious transactions.

YET – Hunter, Jim, and Valerie Biden ALL had wonkey finances with millions and millions of dollars that included ole joe. And ONLY because the crack-head Hunter lost the infamous laptop on which he documented EVERY NASTY ASPECT of his life – including emails detailing financial transactions with Burisma in Ukraine, Russian oligarchs, and Chinese Communist Party financial institutions well over $1BILLION!! – did ALLLLLLLL these finances become interesting to the IRS. BUT – GOD FORBID you spend more than $600 a YEAR untraceable – you potential thief you!!!

Just thought you should know.

Anyone reading this, and who knows me, will know the “golden calf” reference. If not, here’s the short story of it. The children of Israel, several thousand years ago, FINALLY escaped slavery under the Egyptian Pharaoh and were a free people as God had promised. Being humans and very short sighted, after a BAZILLION miracles that ONLY God could have performed to have gained their release of slavery and bondage, and coming to rest at the foot of a mountain, Moses – yes, THAT Moses of, “LET MY PEOPLE GO” – went up the mountain and had a very LONG and LOUD conversation with the actual God of the Universe at which time He gave Moses the ACTUAL “10 COMMANDMENTS” – yes, they really are a REAL thing. While Moses was on the mountain WITH God the children of Isreael were getting just a tad restless…. SO…. they went to Moses’ brother, Aaron, and said, “dude – your bro has been gone just a weeeeee too long. I think we need to build an altar and burn some sacrifices to our gods”… not God, but gods. And Aaron caved. Everyone brought in their gold. Aaron melted it down and erected a golden calf at the altar, and the children of Israel – after witnessing the Hand of the Living God deliver them from captivity and death – bowed and worshiped a clump of metal while the God of the UNIVERSE was 1000+/-ft above them communing with the man He chose to deliver them, Moses.

What does this have to do with now? Democrats. Republicans. Left. Right. Which shiny object is America chasing now? Did politics become our religion? Ask ANY member of ANY party if they TRUST a politician and they will 100% laugh and say a resounding NO! So if politics isn’t our religion, what is? What filled the vacuum of the nuclear family who attended church on Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and sometimes once during the week? Curious!

Today, April 6, 2022, my parents celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary. Miracle? Probably. Both are still living, thankfully, and in relatively good health. It’s not a secret to anyone in our family it was a contentious relationship. That’s not an indictment. It’s simply a fact. They married young and extremely naive, 2 very headstrong individuals from a farming community. After witnessing their marriage as a child, teen, know-it-all 20-something, dumb 30ish into motherhood and wife, and now grandmother in my 60’s with ALL the junk/crap/joy/happiness/shit/bliss life brings… they did the best they knew how! I fault them none, am eternally grateful, and love them infinitely!

How did I wind up here? Simple! God! He has a very simple order of things. God. Man. God. Woman. God. Marriage. God. Babies. God. Family. God. Covenant Family. God. Eternity with Him! GOD!!! THAT is what I learned from Robert and Barbara – if nothing else. Nothing else matters – but God!
