I’m not sure if I’ve been living under a rock my older-adult life, but I am amazed at how many terms I’ve learned and am still learning since Donald Trump first ran for President in 2015. Here are just a few terms off the top of my head: misinformation, collusion, insurrection, deep partisan divide, deep state, qAnon, shadow president, mainstream media (MSM), fake news, and weaponization. I’m sure most of these terms and the MANY I didn’t include were around prior to the age of Donald Trump, but since – they’re sadly part of our vocabulary and life. Learning new things, new words are a great thing and vital for a healthy mind – something I’ve come to understand from the many neurological doctor’s appointments I’ve attended with my mother since her stroke and subsequent dementia … except for HOW we’ve learned these terms… slammed in our face and crammed down our throats. I’ve been very curious about the word weaponization. We hear it all over the media outlets all the time now: weaponization of the IRS, DOJ, etc., with little to no actual definition. So let’s start out with a good ole Mariam-Webster Dictionary definition: “Weaponize, verb (weap-on-ize), weaponized; weaponizing, transitive verb, : to adapt for use as a weapon of war, weaponization (noun)”
In light of that definition, please read and mull over the beginning of our Declaration of Independence:
“When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpatations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and provide new Guards for their future security.”
Now, read the short Preamble to the Constitution of the United States:
“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish the Constitution of the United States of America.”
It says, “Establish Justice” – NOT weaponize our Justice System or any other arm of our Government. Mariam-Webster’s definition of Justice: “the maintenance of administration of what is just especially by the impartial adjustment of conflicting claims or the assignment of merited rewards or punishments – or, the quality of being just, impartial, or fair.” Nowhere in actions or thought can TRUE justice be weaponized, so when our illustrious leaders take our Government – which is WE THE PEOPLE – and turn it against WE THE PEOPLE it is time for us to DEMAND justice by a rebellious uprising and revolt. Does that mean WE break laws? NO! – that would make us worse than the governmental officials against which we revolt. WE rebel with our words and our vote. WE demand our government officials BE what they VOWED – protectors and defenders of our Constitution. When they blatantly go against their VOWS – WE are to demand they be removed either through impeachment during their elected term or by voting them OUT.
WE can no longer sit back as we HAVE been doing and say, “there’s nothing I can do. I’m just ONE person.” Our passiveness about our leaders over the last 50+ years IS what has fostered and empowered these leaders to first assume they can covertly do anything they want all the way to blatantly giving us the finger as they ARE doing WHATEVER they want to achieve THEIR goals, including break laws. They are doing the will of super minority whose voice sadly is much louder than ours. Ask yourself – who do you know that is just fine with the direction of our nation? No one I know! No one I hear while shopping at Walmart – REAL Americans – is happy or condones the “off the cliff” radical, leftist policies being FORCED on all of us. NO ONE! So how can the SUPER MINORITY be literally inflicting their will on the absolute majority? It’s because WE have let them.
I am confounded and amazed at the utter UNJUST attitudes and hypocritical standards I watch and read in the news, on Twitter, and other sites. I literally read daily all the bogus charges being thrown at Trump being praised, celebrated and prodded on while the MOUNTAIN of evidential proof against the Biden family crime syndicate is swatted away as “not that big a deal,” or as “old news.” While Trump indictments over made-up charges are praised, Ole joe and co literally are getting away with the EXACT SAME THING, classified docs and more, while selling out our country.
How can ole joe dismantle our energy sector while making money with a communist arm energy company in China? – OR bribe Ukrainian officials with denying financial support unless his son is secured on their natural gas company, Burisma? Where in the history of the world of fairness is THAT allowed? HERE – in America. How can the guy, Gal Luft, who has given EVIDENTIARY PROOF to the FBI and DOJ that ole joe, his crack-head son, and 3 siblings (Valerie, James and Frank) have made deals with the Chinese Communist Party’s energy company, CEFC, be arrested and charged with arms dealing with ZERO evidence? Is our justice blind? It should be, but in the age of ole joe, that is no longer applicable. Lies have become his administration’s megaphone. His press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, DAILY, gets in front of our mainstream media and spews lies, disinformation, propaganda – AND she’s belligerently nasty about it. Lies roll off her forked tongue like marbles down a mountain. Is she the only liar? oh HECK no! How about Alejandro Mayorkas – Secretary of Homeland Security? He sits before Congress and the Senate and spews lies that “the border is closed… The border is secure” as he’s let in over SEVEN MILLION – 7,000,000+ – illegal aliens in 2+ years, and sadly the Democrats disgustingly praise his “hard work” and ask zero questions while the Republicans push for truth and are dumped on by the media. Jennifer Granholm, energy secretary, blatantly lied to the same group regarding her HUGE stock portfolio in energy companies only to finally admit it two years later. Contrast this with ALL the flack Trump got when he JOKED that people should drink bleach to protect themselves against covid along with ALL the other phrases that have been edited to be used against him.
Would we allow our kids this reprehensible behavior? NO – I would pray not! Why do we think we are powerless against and remain silent against such evil? And don’t be fooled – what is happening IS EVIL! What did Christ say about lies: “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” (John 8:44 NASB) “His NATIVE language” – LIES. There is no middle ground on this – an administration that fundamentally AND systemically spreads lies IS evil. We HAVE to stand against evil.
Stop being passive and fearful of retaliation. Are we so used to passivity that we’ll compromise our Nation’s future – our kids and grandkids future – just to be comfortable and avoid conflict? How were our Founding Fathers so much different, so willing to sacrifice all they had? Their lives were no where near as comfortable as our lives are now, yet they were willing to lose all, including their lives, for their kids, grandkids, and OUR country. Why aren’t we? DEMAND MORE!
