There will be a ton of IF‘s and bold type in this blog. So every time I type in BOLD I’m SCREAMING! So… here we go.
Unless you’re living under a rock you know the FBI raided Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida. There are many problems with that FBI raid. Biggest problem is the fact it’s MAJOR BS! Other than ole joe and his butt-kissers, law experts Jonathan Turley and Alan Dershowitz agree this raid is the equivalent of the death penalty for jaywalking.
Aside from the obvious stupidity of the raid, there are much bigger problems – OPTICS! “Optics” are the way an act is to be perceived. It’s contrived. When the FBI shows up to a former President’s home, 6am, 100 agents strong, fully armed, lights flashing, to confiscate 15 boxes… OPTICS!
But here’s the prob – joe waited till AFTER his “victory” inflation busting bill passage to execute the raid. Why is that a prob? Well – everyone was processing the fact that there will now be 87,000 NEW IRS agents ALONG WITH higher taxes AND inflation – and in light of who the IRS already audits (middle-class, poor, Republicans ** see maps**)… it’s not a huge leap….
IF a former President’s home can be raided because they **THINK** something was boxed up by someone – NOT HIM – and was stored in the basement of his house 18+ months ago… AFTER he already handed over 15 boxes … then do you think for ONE FREAKING SECOND they won’t come after you????
IF joe **didn’t** know about the raid, this could have been THE MOST PERFECT opportunity for him to come out and say so and stand behind “the letter of the law.” But because he has maintained his silence PROVES he was **at the least** FULLY complicit! And we’re supposed to believe the FBI can raid a former President’s house WITHOUT notifying the sitting President? Again – BS!
IF anyone thinks this won’t make Trump THAT much more popular – OH…. MY... GOD…. You have buried your head in the sand!
IF you think this will stop Trump from running for President in 2024 – you are a 1st class idiot.
IF you think this won’t unite Republicans – TRUE Republicans – you go on and believe in purple unicorns.
IF you think Republicans are limited to Trump for EXECELENT choices for President for 2024 – you’ve been living in an oxygen deprived bubble. The Republicans are flush with great choices that actually love this country, her people, and revere our Constitution.
If you’re reading this I’mnot telling you anything new. If you’re my age, you’re pissed. If you’re younger – you’ve been on tiktok laughing at the latest “fill in the blank“, and if someone mentions what’s happening it’s met with derision or contempt as it’s just “too stressful to think about.” Yes, it’s much easier to bury your head in the sand and let everyone else take responsibility for YOUR country. But it IS your country too. What happens when those who are fighting for YOUR country die? – and I’m not talking about those in the military… I’m talking your parents and grandparents. How will you fight for YOUR family’s future?
I have never been fearful for our country – I never had to be… but I am now. I have full confidence in God’s sovereignty, providence, grace, mercy, love, and justice. He IS righteousness! However – God does abhor wickedness and will have His will. We who have His truth HAVE TO be committed to OUR great commission from Christ: “go into all [America] and – preach the good news – make desciples, baptizing them in the name of the the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
[20] teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.” Maybe it’s time we all start taking our commitment seriously. If not now, WHEN? After we’re under police state? How about communist rule? We’re there! What will YOU do?
