As if ole joe could read my mind… he did exactly what I expected. I will give him an inkling of credit for starting out with startling compassion. I was actually hopeful. But, no… it was VERY short lived. After evoking very appropriate scripture and personally painful recal, and requesting the nation pray for the parents, family and friends of the ones killed… ole joe just couldn’t help himself. He HAD to make it all about him, his long career, and gun lobbiests. EIGHTEEN dead babies!…ONE dead teacher!… ONE dead grandmother!… more in the hospital… But – it’s ALL about ole joe.
But – it wasn’t just ole joe. Nancy piped in also with her partisan push for some, non-specific legislation “the will of the American people” want?? And a King O lacky, Juliette Kayyem, said that “the most important thing the Federal government can do right now [**in light of the killing of 18 babies and a teacher**] is to say there is no more immigration enforcement.” And there’s this response: “F— your prayers. They haven’t worked for the last 20 mass shootings how about passing laws that will stop these killings,” Rep. Ruben Gallego, D-Ariz., tweeted at Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif.” WHAT????? I. Can’t. Even.
PEOPLE! THERE ARE DEAD BABIES WITH MOMMIES AND DADDIES, BROTHERS AND SISTERS CRYING THEIR GUTS OUT!!! And they want politics? Shut!!!!!! Up!!!!!!!
Dear God – these people who are living off of us MUST GO! If a mother, father, sister, brother, etc., who has been elected and is living off OUR BACKS * or as Nancy once commented about Social Security recipients “sucking on the tit of society” * if these people can’t fake it for a brief mourning period and show basic human compassion – they need to go!
May God be with and comfort every mommy, daddy, brother, sister, grandmother, grandfather, aunt, uncle, friend of every baby and the teacher killed today and every day forward. And may God calm every child who had to witness the most horrible thing in their life as a baby!
